Meetup: MindSlí Reflect & Connect Discussion Evenings
Wed, Jun 24 · 5:00 PM
We all have a sense of right and wrong. But where did it come from? Some of it was handed to us — by parents, religion, culture, the society we grew up in. Some of it feels deeper than that, like it was always there. And some of it we've quietly revised along the way. This evening, we'll sit with the oldest human question: how do we know what's right? Questions we'll unwrap on the night: 1. What does being moral mean nowadays? 2. Do you need to believe in something bigger than yourself to live morally? 3. Can you think of a moral dilemma — and how would you solve it yourself? This is a non-moderated discussion. We provide the questions and the space — then it's up to you to unwrap the theme. There's a philosopher in all of us — usually hiding behind the day's to-do list. We'll be meeting at The Beacon Pub, Salthill, at the back
