Privacy
The short version: Scenr doesn’t have accounts, doesn’t serve ads, and keeps your location on your device.
Location
When you tap “Use my location” we ask the browser for your coordinates so we can show events nearby. Those coordinates are sent to our server only to fetch events in that area — we don’t log or persist them. A small flag is saved locally so the app can skip the permission prompt on repeat visits.
Local storage
Preferences, saved events, favourite venues and session location live in your browser’s local storage. Nothing about your saved list leaves your device. Clear your browser data to reset it.
Analytics & performance
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure page performance and aggregate traffic. These don’t set tracking cookies or build a profile on you. Optional Sentry error reporting captures crashes without personal details.
Email subscriptions
If you opt in to weekly updates we store your email address and chosen filters so we can send the digest. You can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email; we purge the record on request.
Third parties
Event links go to the original source (Resident Advisor, Ticketmaster, etc.). Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookies — Scenr doesn’t control them.
