REGRET — USEFUL SIGNAL OR DEAD WEIGHT? — MindSlí Meaningful Conversations
Meetup: MindSlí Reflect & Connect Discussion Evenings
Location details on Meetup page
We all carry it. The decision that didn't work out. The thing we said, or didn't say. The path we didn't take. This evening, we'll explore what regret actually is and what it's trying to tell us. Warm-up question: In your experience, do you tend to feel more regret about the things you did, or the things you didn't do? Questions we'll unwrap on the night: 1. Is regret a sign that you made the wrong decision, or just that things didn't work out? 2. Have you ever changed something meaningful in your life because of regret, or does it mostly just sit there? 3. If you could remove all regret from your life, would you? (!) Since our usual facilitator Inga is on holidays, our group member Michael will be hosting this time. This is a non-moderated discussion. We provide the questions and the space — then it's up to you to unwrap the theme. There's a philosopher in all of us — usually hiding behind the day's to-do list. We'll be meeting at The Oslo Pub, Salthill, at the back.
